“To be bound to do” ってどんな意味？

今回、紹介する"to be bound to do"はあまり聞きなれないフレーズですが、"to be sure"と同じように使われます。
動詞 “bound” の原型は ”bind”「（ひもなどで）縛る、拘束する」という意味があり、to be bound to ～　を直訳すると「～に縛られている」となり、将来的に『～するのは間違いない、必ず～する、～しないといけない』というニュアンスで使われます。
